I’m Melody Battentier, a French-British photographer and award-winning art director based in London, raised in the French Alps.

With a background in ballet and a love for cinema, my work is all about capturing movement, skin, and human connection. I blend emotion and aesthetics to tell stories that feel honest, raw, and intentional.

After almost a decade working as an art director across agencies in Paris and London, I took the leap into freelance life. Today, I travel the world photographing people, places, and creative projects that light me up. I also mentor aspiring creatives and share my journey as a content creator, because I truly believe there’s room for all of us to grow.

Oh, and I also teach yoga. Which means empathy and presence are the foundation of how I connect with everyone I work with.

1. I trained in ballet for 12 years and it was my biggest passion. It gave me both my artistic eye and the discipline that follows me in everything I do.

2. I’m obsessed with chocolate chip cookies. I literally map the best ones in every city I visit. Yes, I take this very seriously.

3. I’m a big musical theater fan. If I could live in a musical from time to time, I honestly would.

4. I’m deeply proud of where I’m from. The French Alps are my rock and my rhythm. I carry them with me in everything I do.

5. My parents named me Melody because of their love for music. Turns out, it stuck. People always remember me by name.
