Hi, I’m Melody Battentier, a French-British photographer and award-winning art director based in London, raised in the French Alps.

With a background in ballet and a deep love for cinema, I create visual stories that celebrate movement, skin, and human connection. My work blends emotion and aesthetics, shaped by years of studying the body, light, and feeling.

I travel the world for photography and creative direction projects, capturing people and moments with honesty and intention. Alongside client work, I mentor aspiring creatives and share behind-the-scenes content as a digital storyteller and content creator.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me teaching yoga: empathy and presence are at the heart of everything I do.

I’m here to share everything I wish someone had told me at the beginning of my creative journey.

After nearly a decade as a full-time art director in ad agencies, PR firms, and boutique studios between Paris and London, an unexpected redundancy pushed me to go fully freelance, and honestly, it changed my life.
